Extreme weather causes millions of dollars in property damage each year. Wind damage usually caused from 
straight-line, hurricane or tornado winds, pose significant loss for both the Property and Casualty and Commercial Lines insurance carriers.
Proxix’s Damaging Winds database was developed at a high level of spatial resolution to provide the relative risk of a damaging wind event occurring for an insured property. Risk scores are available for the individual wind types as well as an overall aggregated damaging winds score.
